reflect + refocus 2016 worksheets

Reflect-&-Refocus-2016-blog-bannerIt’s that time again. The end of a year and the beginning of a new one.

If I am honest, this week between Christmas and New Year is the enemy’s window of time to step in and spread lies of failure and regret and fuel the fire with feelings of overwhelm as I think about the new year. I compare myself heavily during this time….while everyone else is fired up about the NEW YEAR and ALL THEY ARE GOING TO ACCOMPLISH I say to myself “I didn’t do enough and I will fail again so why set goals?” Because if you don’t set goals there will be no goals to fail, right! (I feel like an embarrassment to the dreamer and doer community)

I know this isn’t healthy and I promise I am trying to do better. For the first time I have Lara Casey’s Power Sheets staring at me. Will I be brave enough to sit down with them???? (I will let you know.)

I feel this way every year, so a few years ago I created my own “I-hate-goal-setting” Worksheets called go to this website Reflect + Refocus. It was my way of DOING something. It’s simpler and can be used along side any goal setting practice you have. Many teams walk through it together. Its great to go through in tandem with our devotional 31 Days of Prayer for the Dreamer and the Doer.

Words of encouragement from my dear friend, Kat Armstrong...

“I think business owners, creatives, dreamers and doers struggle most during this season. Everyone and everything wants a impact report of progress and most of us feel totally inadequate to speak about what we’ve done because it pales to our dreams. But hold fast to your identity as an image bearer.
Nothing you did or left undone changes who you are.”

We love you guys and this community. We want to serve you even better in 2016. Please pray with us that the regret and overwhelm don’t hold us back!

It’s just encouraging you to fill out a few more fields. We could only put 2 fields on the home page. Once you fill in the other fields it will be complete;)
